At Rushy Meadow Primary School we are committed to providing each of our pupils with the best possible education, geared to achieving their true potential. Rushy Meadow is for children who are bright and bubbly, quiet and thoughtful, eager and enquiring.

We appreciate their differences and respond to their individual needs. We want every child to be the best they can be. Our pupils aim high, believe they can succeed, take responsibility for their own learning and develop as independent learners who think creatively and reflectively.

Karen Rhodes - Head

Rushy Meadow is providing pupils with a good education in a welcoming and attractive environment. The school’s strong sense of purpose and the ethos of high expectations are very evident. As one parent wrote ‘the school brings out the best in my child, encouraging him to be independent, focused and supporting his learning needs.’

Ofsted

We have had smart new lockers put in at Key Stage 2.  All the children now have their own locker to keep their bags in.
